Diesel prices fared even worse climbing up over 8 cents to $4.72 a gallon, up $1.87 from a year ago at this same time.
These price increases come as businesses and consumers struggle to pay for higher fuel costs. Businesses continue to pass along "fuel charges" to customers and consumers are tightening their budgets and forgoing discretionary purchases.
