Diesel prices are also higher up $1.816 per gallon from a year ago at this time.
These higher prices continue to fuel pain at the pump and pain throughout the economy as higher energy costs are passed along.
And things are not looking to get better. The price for crude oil continues to march upward on fears of supply disruptions and world security tensions. The price for a barrel of oil is now over 141 a barrel and some predict prices at $200 per barrel in the near future.
