We are running out of water on our farm to grow crops with. The water in our well has droped over 200 ft in the last 20 years. What do you want, Food or bio fuel? There is not enough water left for both. One box of corn flakes $8. How about one box of corn flakes not there?
Water issues are primarily driven by urban growth. Most farmland is not irrigated but rather draws water from rainfall. And most plants return the water to the air.
