Let's Put the Fossil in Fossil Fuels

Google Google.com logoCan you learn something new? Google apparently thinks so.

Because who wants to be a dinosaur? That's just a fossil fuel!

Google is a sensational company that attracts and retains highly talented employees. From their famous "Do no evil" motto to their gourmet cafeterias, they strive to be the best.

Among their many efforts, Google invests in continuing education for their employees. They routinely invite successful and influential personalities to come to their company to discuss top issues. And now Google is making this information available to net users via their TechTalk videos at YouTube.com.

By invitation from the Google's co-founders and CEO, Vinod Khosla, a noted ethanol supporter and Silicon Valley notable, visited Google to deliver a tech talk about the emergence of ethanol as a viable, market ready, and competitive source of renewable energy. This video was posted by Google this week onto YouTube.

Vinod Khosla Ethanol Food vs FuelBiofuels: Think Outside the Barrel, March 2006.

One of the best lines from Vinod's presentation discussed how "oil" should be the "alternative fuel". And that it's time to put the "fossil" into "fossil fuel".
